Frank Fletcher Jr. of Woodbridge was driving south on Onville Road on Saturday night, May 28, when his car crossed the center line and collided with an on-coming Dodge Challenger at 9:45 p.m., the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said. First responders sent the driver and passenger in that car to a nearby hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Fletcher also spent Saturday night in the hospital for his injuries from the wreck, deputies noted.

Investigators determined that Fletcher was intoxicated when he wrecked and charged him with DUI, his second in five years, deputies said. Officials also charged him with driving with a revoked license, reckless driving, and obstruction.

He was being held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail, sheriff deputies said.
